The new EFL Medium Series from EP is the 2.5 tonne Lithium-ion forklift with a single purpose: replacing diesel yard trucks. It has the same low price, tough chassis and tested components - but in place of the diesel engine, there's just a Lithium-ion battery and silent electric motors.

As standard, the EFL Medium Series comes standard with a 4800mm triplex container mast, with all the functionality needed for yard operations - there is 2240mm freelift for unloading shipping containers, tilt and sideshift for unloading trucks, and a wide field of view for safety. 

The EFL series is IPX4 rated. The waterproof design allows the trucks to be operated outdoors, even in the rain.

Thanks to its cutting-edge LFP battery in 80V/205Ah, 80V/230AH, 80V/410AH and 80V/460AH capacities, the EFL253 has energy costs 30% less than a comparable lead-acid forklift, and 50% less than a diesel yard truck. Combined with the low-maintenance AC electric drive chain, this delivers huge savings in long-term TCO. Developed inhouse by EP, the battery is maintenance-free, emissions-free and impact-safe.
